Sigurmundsson earns third Player of the Week honor
Gulf South Conference For the third time this season, Charger center Saevar Sigurmundsson (SO, 6-6, 210, Reykjavik, Iceland) is the Gulf South Conference East Division Player of the Week for the period ending February 6. Sigurmundsson shined bright in a week the Chargers would wtherwise rather forget, averaging 26.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in a pair of losses. He also shot .677 (21-31) from the field and 1.00 from the charity stripe (9-9). |
